Accommodated in a safe, healthy & supportive environment Treated with respect & to have open communication. Leave the program at any time in consultation with the Glebe House Team. Actively involved in the development of my case plan. Constructive with my feedback regarding the program. My Obligations are to; Abide by ALL the rules & guide lines/ instructions from staff. Behave appropriately both within Glebe House and outside at meetings or classes. Remain alcohol & drug free during the program. Actively participate in all aspects of the program. Help create & maintain a positive, supportive environment for myself & others. Demonstrate respect for ALL Residents & Staff. Take responsibility for my actions, personal hygiene & appearance. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the house. Relationships: I agree to refrain from participating in any current or new primary relationships. I agree to refrain from participating in any current or new sexual relationship of any nature during my stay at Glebe House. Other Rights & ObligationsRent & Bond: Rent & Bond is $260.00 fortnightly . The Initial Two weeks rent & bond, must be paid upon admission The rent period {14 days } is counted from the day of arrival . i.e. Arrival on the 1 st , rent due before midday of the 15 th . The Bond of $20.00 per week and is refunded on discharge . Personal Items: Residents are NOT permitted to have Vehicles ,T.V. Computer or Stereo Walkman with ear phones only is permitted . Restrictions: In the 1 st week at Glebe House ALL Residents will be on Restrictions. Which means you will need to be accompanied by another Glebe House resident at ALL times outside of the house. Meetings:You are to attend two A.A., N.A. or G.A. Meetings every day while in the Glebe House program .Actively participating in the meeting by arriving on time, sharing if asked , and staying focused throughout the whole meeting . Become a group member of a meeting Make sure this undertaking will not interfere with the Glebe House “in house” program . To get and develop a “working relationship” with a sponsor . One Meeting a day if working. Ex residents of Foundation House are required to attend the “in house” meeting each Wednesday night at Foundation House . N.B. Your recovery depends on these very important basicsUrine and Breath Testing: I agree to give a urine sample and/or undertake a breathalyser upon request of staff and I understand that these can be conducted at any time. Urine samples must be provided under staff supervision Urine sample must be given within one hour of request; failure to do so is considered a refusal and will be treated the same as a positive result – instant eviction. If an immediate urine sample cannot be given, I agree to remain in the office, under supervision, until such time as a sample is provided.
Privacy: My privacy as a resident will be respected. I accept that staff MUST take responsibility for the running of Glebe House & for appropriate reasons may enter your room at any time. When practical, an appropriate warning will be given to enter your room. Visitors Staff must be notified and introduced to ALL visitors. Visitors must NOT go upstairs under any circumstances . Residents are responsible for their visitors while they are at Glebe House. Visitors are NOT to be offered meals by residents without staff permission. Children: Children & persons under 18 years of age are NOT permitted into Glebe House unless prior approval has been given by Staff. Children MUST be supervised at ALL times & remain in the view of Staff. Smoking: I am aware that Glebe House has a No Smoking Policy . Which means that I am NOT allowed to smoke in the house under ANY circumstances . The rear verandah is the only designated area. Case Management: I am willing to do a Case Plan with my Case Manager or appointed staff member. Mobile Phones: I will not use a Mobile Telephone in the house during Group or Dinner. Dress Rules: Dress rules apply in Glebe House ie: no bare feet downstairs. Shirts must be worn in the house, underwear and night attire are not acceptable downstairs. Cooking / Breakfast: Hot breakfasts on weekends and public holidays ONLY. Lounge Room: No lying around on lounges at ANY time. Employment / Training/Education: You are NOT permitted to work in the 2 months of the Program. Only part time work is to be undertaken during the last month of the program. Once you commence work you are required to move from Sickness Benefits' to New Start with Centrelink and inform them of your income. ALL residents MUST have the appropriate Work Clothing and Safety Boots / Shoes before starting work. Residents who have gained employment are required to comply with all aspects of the program .ie compulsory duties and at least one meeting a day. Working residents are required to save 50% of their net weekly income in the form of an additional bond. Working residents are responsible for cleaning the back yard and the van if unable to do normal house chores. Lending Money & or Other Items: Residents are NOT permitted to lend Money or other Personal Items to other residents under ANY circumstances. Sleeping during the day: Residents are NOT permitted to sleep during the day unless approved by Staff. Eating between Meals: Residents are NOT permitted to eat between meals. (Fruit is acceptable) Pornography: Residents are NOT permitted to bring ANY Pornographic Material into Glebe House.
Consequences for breaching ANY of the above:A Formal Warning may be given to a Resident who are NOT abiding to the other terms of their Agreement. If the Resident continues to NOT abide by their Agreement they may be placed back on Restrictions . If the Resident still continues to NOT abide by their Agreement they will be Discharged from the Program for a minimum of Three months. Immediate discharge Failure to remain alcohol & drug free or to gamble is an eviction . Violence or threatening behaviour to anyone is an eviction . Completion of Program: My front door & room keys, linen & bedding will be returned & my room cleaned before my bond is returned. ALL items loaned to you by Glebe House MUST be returned in good order before any Bond is returned. It is your responsibility to have your mail re-addressed .Glebe House will not hold mail . Discharge: If you are Discharged from the Glebe House Program you can not re-apply for re-admission for THREE months. If you were discharged for using & or drinking whilst in the Program you can not return to the house until you have ONE month clean are doing meetings .
